The Pale Morning Dun Barr Emerger is a good imitation of the PMD as it is coming up toward the surface and filling with "gas" as it prepares for emergance. The flash adds a bit of attraction also. Fish either deep, just near the surface, or tied behind either a dry or dry emerger.
